The Everyday Three

Fragments of time, touch and the push and pulls forces between human and nature. The combination of the two creates material contrast and yet when positioned together, becomes one thing. A balanced harmony.

Material contrast between the plastic construction tape, ripped, and the organic texture of the trunk.

Layered fragments- Zip ties, sign, sharpie pen- all slowly eroding within natures presence. Human touch disappearing.

Lichen patch flourishing- colour combinations, textural differences.

A piece of tape applied- Use unknown, perhaps to fix a loose lamp post cover. The eroding metal, paint chipping, element of time. Plastic doesn’t erode or respond to natures presence as easily.

Up-rooted tree trunk which has gathered a cluster of rocks within it’s roots.
